Quattro Country

The former Grand Prix circuit last hosted a Formula 1 race in 1985. Last year Emanuele Pirro won the Sprint and the Race of the STW opening event, but those are not the only reasons why he favors this circuit. Optimal acceleration after slow bends require high traction and bring out the best of the Audi Quattro - the 1995 victory went to Frank Biela.

Best Quattro Circuit

If driven correctly, one opportunity to regain valuable time is the handicap at the end of the straight just parallel to the Start/Finish line. According to Emanuele, the best point to overtake other cars is the entry into the acute-angled bend right after Start/Finish.
