The City Course
- The Nuernberg City
Course was last year's location of the ITC, from
which the DTM inherited this traditional event.
Emanuele remembers the Norisring from his time at
BMW when he steered the M3 during the DTM in
1992.
Season's
Peak
- The city streets with
its long straights and tight turns require
aggressive driving, says Emanuele Pirro. One has
to be particularly tough when breaking for the
famous "Spitzkehre". Good traction is
critical for best acceleration out of the turns.
It remains to be seen as to what extent the
Quattro's 4 wheel advantage will compensate for
the higher speeds of the 2-wheel drive cars
during the long straights.

Course Layout
- Emanuele does not
consider the Norisring course layout very
interesting. Rather, it is the ambience of the
Norisring weekend that gives it a unique flair.
