| Francorchamps, August 27, 2003 The organisers of the FIA Sportscar Championship together with the circuit of Spa Francorchamps are offering members of the media and public the chance to experience the magic of this classic Ardennes track at high speed as part of the activities surrounding the Spa 1000km this coming weekend. With support for all the series partners the 2 Lotus Elise safety cars used in the championship will give each passenger the thrill of a quick lap at the hands of some of the best drivers in the business. The hot laps of Spa have been organised in support of the Association Belge des Maladies Neuromucularies, a leading national children’s charity who will benefit directly from all proceeds raised from businesses and passengers on the day. Rides will take place between 14.00 and 15.00 CET at Spa Francorchamps, from pit lane, no need to bring a helmet…..just bring 20 Euros and enjoy the ride. |
