Audi Team at Le Mans

Ingolstadt, February 1, 2000

Audi has confirmed their team for this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours: The team mates of Emanuele Pirro are Christian Abt, Michele Alboreto, Laurent Aiello, Frank Biela, Rinaldo Capello, Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish and Stephane Ortelli.

Pirro, Alboreto, Aiello, Biela and Capello already drove the open Audi in 1999 while Abt and Ortelli shared one of the closed R8 Coupés. Kristensen and McNish are new in the team but not new at Le Mans: The Dane won in 1997 and the Scot in 1998.
