Shrimp in Sage


Gamberetti alla Salvia - Zutaten

450g small raw shrimp
15 tablespoons cold squeezed olive oil
10 fresh sage leaves
Salt and fresh ground pepper

Rinse shrimp in cold water, then dry off in paper towel.

Gamberetti alla Salvia - Zubereitung

Heat the olive oil in a heavy pan at medium temperature. Fry the sage leaves for two minutes, add the shrimp, cover the pan and allow to simmer for two minutes.

Remove the cover, add salt and pepper and lower heat. Let shrimp simmer without cover for two more minutes.

Gamberetti alla Salvia

Garnish shrimp with sage and serve on a warm plate.
